Larry Franklin Holloman

Larry Franklin Holloman, age 81, passed away on September 12, 2026. He was born August 13, 1945, in Selma, North Carolina, to George and Myrtie Holloman. Larry was a lifelong resident of Selma. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Holloman; his step-son, Christopher Rodney Williams; his granddaughter, Amber Holloman Pope; his parents, George and Myrtie Holloman; his brothers, Russell Edward Holloman, George “Buck” Holloman, and Marshall Holloman; and his sisters, Venita Stallings, Marguerite Alley, Peggy Thompson, and Myrtle Mae Sauls.

Larry had a lifelong love for cars and hot rods. He enjoyed building hot rods, painting and restoring cars, and watching NASCAR. He had a talent for taking something old and bringing it back to life, and he took great pride in the cars he built. More than anything, however, Larry treasured time spent with his family, especially his son, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his son, Larry Franklin “Frankie” Holloman Jr. and wife, Chidnapa Holloman; grandchildren, Kristie Holloman-Radford and husband, Matthew Radford, Haley Williams, Jasmine Williams, and Micah Williams; and great-grandchildren, J.D. Radford, Amberlyn Radford, and Rhett Radford. Larry is also survived by his siblings, Brenda Sue Snodgrass, Linda Rose Edwards and husband Jim, Mary Holloman McDaniels and husband Buddy, and Bernice Ray Holloman and wife Debbie.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with the burial to follow in the Holloman Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Rev. Steven Walker will officiate.
