Benson, NC: Mrs. Linda Faye Beasley Lee, age 78, of Surles Road passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Joe Brown. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Lee was born on December 20, 1944 in Johnston County, NC to the late Leonard and Pauline Lee Beasley. She was preceded in death by her son, Glennwood Dale Lee; several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Lee worked in textiles for many years and worked for Warren Drug Store in Benson for over 20 years. She enjoyed traveling, working in her flowers, and spending time with all of her family. Mrs. Lee was a loving caretaker for a lot of her family. She owned and operated the Bluegrass Barn in Benson with her husband, Glenn for 13 years.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Glenn Lee; children, Tammy Tart and husband, Chris of Dunn, Amy Creech and husband, Danny of Benson; grandchildren, Allen Cook and wife, Amber, Blake Tart and special friend, Riley, Makaylah Thornton and husband, Zack, Kaylee Creech and Dawson Creech; great-grandchildren, Fletcher Cook, Cayden Tart, Caysen, Clara-Jon Tart; sister, Joyce Reynolds and husband, Bill of Pinehurst; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 9:30AM to 10:45AM prior to the service at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church and other times at the home.
