Linda Rose Pinder

Linda Rose Pinder, 73, of Princeton, passed away Friday morning at Kitty Askins in Goldsboro, NC. She was born in Johnston County June 30, 1953 to the late Eugene and Irene Davis Jones. She was the spouse of John Wayne Pinder Sr. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Angie Carol Pinder; a brother, Edward Jones; and a sister, Brenda Powell.

Linda cherished her time with family and friends and loved going out to eat to fellowship. She loved doing floral arrangements, crocheting, and any kind of arts and crafts. She loved trips to the beach with friends and really enjoyed celebrating people on their birthdays and special occasions.

The family received friends on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, 1:00pm until 2:00pm in the Casey Funeral Home & Cremations. The funeral was held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home & Cremations. A private interment was held at Selma Memorial Gardens, Selma, NC.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, John Pinder (Diane); grandchildren, Dylan Pinder, Mikalah Pinder, Colby Pinder (Nadilee), Nichole Hopkins (Tyrell), Kendal Scharch (Tyquan), Ronnie Scharch (Lauren); stepson, John Scharch; brother-in-law, Steve Rouse; best friend, Carol Perry.
