Logan Andrew Wolbert

Logan Andrew Wolbert

Logan Andrew Wolbert passed away on November 22, 2025, in Florence, South Carolina, surrounded by his closest family. Logan was born on January 12, 1998, and grew up in Smithfield, where he graduated from Smithfield-Selma High School with the Class of 2016.

Logan had the kindest heart and a deep love for both people and animals. He was the kind of person others were drawn to and he made everyone around him feel seen, valued, and special. He carried a positive attitude no matter the challenges he faced. The best sermons are lived, not preached, and his life reflected that truth. He lived simply, loved generously, cared deeply, and spoke kindly.

He deeply loved his Nana and Papa and cherished every moment spent with them in Pennsylvania. Logan also found great joy in his work at Victor’s restaurant, where the fast-paced environment and constant interaction with people suited his outgoing spirit. Being around others brought him energy, and he brought that same energy back to the people he met.

Logan is survived by his mother, Wendy Wolbert; his father, Mike Wolbert, and wife Angela of Smithfield; and his sisters, Meredith Rabil and Morgan Rabil, both of Smithfield. He is also survived by his grandparents, Don and Pat Wolbert of Oil City, Pennsylvania; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Though their hearts are broken, Logan’s family finds peace knowing he is held lovingly in God’s presence and that they will be reunited with him again one day. His warmth, compassion, and gentle presence live on in the countless lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dossie L. Tappen and Durward L. Tappen.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., followed by a service at 3:00 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Potter House Recovery in Florence, SC, in honor of Logan. Donations may be mailed to 3833 Beckford St., Florence, SC 29501, or made online at potterhouserecovery.com.

Logan touched countless lives with his gentle spirit and generous heart. His presence will be deeply missed, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
