Coats, NC: Ms. Lola Holloman Cashwell, age 74, of English Court passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Graveside Funeral Services will be held-2:00 PM Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Byrd Family Cemetery in Angier, NC. Officiating will be Pastor Brian Cameron.
Ms. Cashwell was born on July 29, 1949 in Sampson County to the late Fernie Carl and Agnes Alberta Ammons Holloman. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Carl Holloman. Prior to retirement, she worked as a cashier at Walmart. She was a hard worker, had a great sense of humor, was a great cook, and enjoyed collecting owls. She loved everyone and everyone loved her but especially her family. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Surviving are her children, Julius Cashwell, Jr. and wife, Maria and Alice Marie Cashwell Hair and Brian; grandchildren, Thomas Michael Cashwell and wife, Brittani, Tabitha Brooke Collins and Dominick, Matthew Faircloth and wife, Kimmy, and Josey Scott Cashwell; great grandchildren, Aiden, Gavin, Arianna, Brooklynn, Alaya, and Colton; sister, Peggy Ann Rivera; special niece, Melissa Hilburn; special nephew, Leo “Little D” Mitchell; and other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.
