Luis Angel Ferrer-Zapata

Luis Angel Ferrer-Zapata was born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. He was the only son of Luis Angel Ferrer and Mercedes Zapata.

He spent his early years in Puerto Rico and later in New York. After marrying his wife Ana, they made their home in New York and raised three sons: Jose, Melvin, and Luis Jr. Luis worked many jobs throughout his life. He was a chauffeur, truck driver, and entrepreneur. He enjoyed watching old movies, especially westerns. He also loved his coffee every day and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ana and his youngest son, Luis Angel.

He is survived by his sons Jose (Barbara) and Melvin (Michelle), and his daughter-in- law Vasilia Fesser. His grandchildren are Anna, Christian, Jose, Kaitlin, and Demetrios. His great-grandchildren are Emily, Evan, and Zara Alice.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
