Dunn, NC: Mr. Lynwood Larry Ennis, age 84, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024 unexpectedly. Graveside Funeral Services will be 11:00AM-Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Harnett Devotional Gardens outside Dunn, NC. Rev. Randy Beasley will officiate.
Mr. Ennis was born on October 11, 1939 in Harnett County to the late Hubert Ennis and Evelyn Ennis Ennis. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Jean Carolyn Allen Ennis; siblings, Kay Ennis, Donald R. Ennis and Hal R. Ennis.
Mr. Ennis was a lifelong farmer. Mr. Ennis was an avid hunter and trapper. He loved being outdoors on the farm he grew up on, but what he loved the most was his family.
Surviving include his daughters, Pamela Ennis Coats; Peggy Ennis Faircloth and John Willis; and Terri Jo Ennis Allen and husband, Stacey; grandchildren, Jason Jackson and wife, Cassie; Ashlyn Allen and Colton Allen; great-grandchildren, Chase Carter, Gracie Wallace, Cameron Carter, Cailey Jackson and Carolyn Jackson; brothers, Hubert Ennis, Jr., Gary L. Ennis, Phillip R. Ennis, Stanley J. Ennis and Perry D. Ennis; sister, Pamalia Ennis.
The family will receive friends immediately following the Graveside Service on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Harnett Devotional Gardens, Dunn, NC and other times at the home of Pamela Ennis Coats, 900 Duke Street, Erwin, NC 28339.
Flowers are welcome but memorials may be made to Lees Grove PFWB 6208 Fairground Rd. Dunn, NC 28334.
