Mark Stephen Crumpler

Mark Stephen Crumpler

Mark Stephen Crumpler, 64, of Clayton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 31, 2025. Born January 29, 1961, he was the son of the late Millard and Naomi Crumpler.

Mark was known for his generous spirit and his willingness to help others whenever he could. He had a subtle sense of humor that could light up a room, and he found joy in the simple things in life. A true sports fanatic, Mark rarely missed a game, and he had a deep appreciation for tools and craftsmanship. Mark enjoyed working as an electrician for Crossroads Ford until his passing.

In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors. One of his favorite places in the world was Emerald Isle Beach, where he loved fishing from the pier late into the night. Mark loved spending time with his family; his grandchildren were his biggest joy. Mark was a Christian man whose faith guided his life, and his kindness and good humor touched everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Crumpler; sons, John Crumpler (Haley), Stuart Samosky (Darra), and Mark Samosky (Claire); grandchildren, Owen Crumpler, Alora Samosky, Jackson Samosky, Benjamin Samosky, and Hannah Samosky; brother, David Crumpler; and nephew, Marshall Crumpler.

Funeral service will take place on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00pm.
