Mary Ellen Hendricks

Selma – Mary Ellen Anders Hendricks, age 81, passed away on Thursday May 28, 2026 at Smithfield Manor Nursing and Rehab in Smithfield. She was born in Montgomery County, PA on April 19, 1945 to the late Wilson Fretz Anders and Mary Ellen Moyer Anders. In addition to her father and mother, she is also preceded in death by sisters, Arlene Freed, Doris Kolb and Emma Keeler.

She is survived by her husband, John Hendricks; daughters, Kelly Schneider and husband Frank, Kimberly Bargher, Rachelle Alderfer and husband Trevor, Alecia Linko and husband Mike; son, Mark Hendricks and wife Melissa; brother, Wilson Anders and wife Jean; sisters, Esther Nice, Jeanie Detweiler and husband Vern; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Mary loved to go to yard sales and thrift stores in her spare time. She loved playing games, baking and camping with her family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
