Smithfield, NC: Mrs. Mary Jo Stephenson Keith, age 70, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield, NC, surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be held 6:00PM-8:00PM-Monday, May 29, 2023 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks, NC. Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM-Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks, NC. Pastor Eddie White will officiate. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Smithfield, NC.
Mrs. Keith was born in Johnston County, NC to the late Gilbert and Helen Creech Stephenson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wayne Keith. Mrs. Keith was the Co-owner and operator of Riverside- Planters Tobacco Warehouse in Smithfield, NC. She loved spending time with her family, and especially loved Christmas.
Survivors include her sons, Chris Keith, and Dewitt Keith and wife, Paula, all of Clayton, NC; daughter, Jacqueline Keith of Smithfield, NC; grandchildren, Hannah Bennett, Garrett Bennett, Crissie Keith and Callin Keith; brother, Steve Stephenson and wife, Patricia of Georgia; several nieces and nephews.
