Ms. Mavis Rochelle Dunn, age 63, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Duke Medical Center in Durham, NC. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM-Monday, February 21, 2022 at Stone’s Creek Advent Christian Church outside Benson, NC. Rev. Joe Brown and Rev. Steven Campbell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Ms. Dunn was born on September 7, 1958 in Harnett County, NC to the late Joseph Monroe and Mavis Angel Hudson Dunn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Vernell Bagley and brothers, J.P. Dunn, Leon Earl Dunn and Charles Ray Dunn. Ms. Dunn was a homemaker and member of Stone’s Creek Advent Christian Church, Benson, NC.
Surviving include her son, William Cousins and wife, Casey; grandchildren, Gabe Cousins, Grant Cousins, and Paisley Cousins; brothers, Johnny Dunn and wife, Patricia, and Ronnie Dunn and wife, Wilma; sisters-in-law, Frances Dunn, Patsy Dunn, and Sandra Dunn; many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6:00PM-8:00PM, Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC and other times at the home of Ronnie and Wilma Dunn 411 Surles Road, Benson, NC 27504.
