Benson, NC: Mrs. Neta Clayton Johnson, age 66, of Old Fairground Road passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Graveside Services will be 11:00AM Monday, January 10, 2022 at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier. Officiating will be Dr. Paul Rowland, Jr.
Mrs. Johnson was born on May 20, 1955 in Harnett County to the late James William and Royaline Parrish Clayton. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dixie C. Johnson; and her brothers, Robin Clayton and Carlie Clayton. Mrs. Johnson retired from Lancer Insurance Company as an underwriter.
Surviving include her husband of 37 years, Ray Johnson of Benson; son, Brandon Stancil and wife, Amanda of Benson; grandsons, Brandon Stancil, II and wife, Hannah of Four Oaks, Mikael Faircloth and Jordan Faircloth of Benson; sisters, Wilma Stone and Joyce Coats both of Angier; brothers, Donald Clayton of Angier, Larry Clayton and wife, Carolyn of Benson; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service and other times at the home.
