Norma Hale Overman

Princeton – Norma Hale Overman, age 78, of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at her home. She was born October 29, 1947, in Halifax County, to the late Murray Hale and Zola Bell Hale.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 29, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Parrish Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 PM, with burial to follow at Rains Crossroads FWB Church.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 38 years, Jerry Overman; sons Kenny Tolston and wife Lori; daughter and best friend Kimberly Holt and husband Clifton; step-daughter Lois Mills; grandchildren Nicholas Melvin, Nicole Tompkins, Aleah Tolston, Hart Holt, Holden Holt, Kenna Holt, Betty Mills, Shawna Mills, Jerry Mills, and Rocky Mills; great-grandchildren Mylah Melvin, Hunter Ahern, Brantley Ahern, Jayden, and Desiree; along with many extended family members and friends.

Norma was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord with all her heart. Her faith guided her life and was evident in her love, kindness, and care for others. She cherished her family deeply and found her greatest joy in being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She will be remembered for her warm spirit, her generous heart, and her unwavering love for Christ and her family.
