Selma – Ms. Norma Jean Adcock ,age 61, Selma NC passed away peacefully on April 22, 2023, following a brief battle sickness. A visitation will be held for her Family and Friends on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.
Ms. Adcock was born April 18, 1962 in Johnston County to the late Shirley M. Adams, and late James R. Adcock Sr. Ms. Adcock worked in many areas during her life to include Retail, Home Health as a CNA and a Project Art Coach with special needs adults. Ms. Adcock enjoy working with her mother in her Ceramic business. She loved to paint, especially Indian inspired pieces.
Ms. Adcock is survived by her son, Norman “Pete” Turner (wife Mandy); sister, Sherrie L. Capps (husband Bruce); brother, James R Adcock Jr (wife Linda); stepfather, Zeb Adams Jr, niece, Brittany M. Adcock and three grandchildren she loved dearly; Damian Turner, Caleb Turner, and Michelle May Turner and also canine companion “Pixie” who she loved so much and who was very devoted to her.
A very special thank you Dr. Eugene Maynard and his Nurses for the care they gave before and during her sickness. Also, a very special thank you to 3HC (Home Health and Hospice Care) for the helping the family during her transition to heaven.
Prayers and Thoughts are greatly appreciated during this time for the family.
The family will be prior and after Ms. Adcock visitation at her sister’s home at 124 Pine South Dr. Selma, NC 27576.
