Mrs. Patricia Gregory Richardson, age 86, passed away on May 20, 2022 at Transitions Lifecare of Raleigh, NC. A Graveside Memorial service will be held-12:00PM Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Jim Ferry. A Memorial Service at White Memorial Presbyterian Church will be announced at a later date.
Mrs. Richardson was born on August 15, 1935 in Wake County to the late Victor Graham and Lucille Stephenson Gregory. Pat was born in Raleigh and grew up in Benson, NC. During her growing up years, she had a passion and an energy for music and drama. During Pat’s college days, the door opened for a commitment to education. Wake Technical Community College opened the door for Pat’s passion and commitment to lifelong learning and volunteerism. She received The President’s Lifetime Achievement Award from Wake Tech. Pat was a small-town girl at heart, sharing her love with family and friends and that love kept a song in her heart!
Surviving includes her son, Dr. Gregory L. Richardson and wife, Ann; granddaughters, Madalyn Richardson, Margaux Richardson, and Joanie Richardson. Her granddaughters were a blessing in Pat’s life.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to White Memorial Church at 1704 Oberlin Rd, Raleigh, NC 27608 and Wake Technical Community College at 9101 Fayetteville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603.
