Randy Lee Wall, age 80, died Tuesday afternoon October 17, 2023, in the SECU Hospice House of Smithfield. Born May 8, 1943, in Johnston County, he was a son of the late Johnny Thelbert and Sadie Ethel Lamm Wall. He was the widower of Bonnie Long Wall, who died September 27, 2018, and was preceded in death by a grandson, Randy G. Price who died February 22, 2006, and his twin brother, Danny Wall. Randy was a farmer and heavy equipment operator for most of his life and enjoyed restoring old tractors and gardening in his spare time. He was also a member of Micro First Baptist Church. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2023, in the John Mincy Brown Family Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Stevens officiating. The family will receive friends at the home, 56 Brown Wall Road, Selma, NC 27576.
Surviving are his daughter, DeeDee Reaves and husband Glenn of Kenly and Tammy Wall and husband Austin Register of Selma; brothers, Ritchie Wall and wife Louise of Selma and Tim Wall of Grantsboro; sister-in-law, Dianne Wall of Selma; five grandchildren, Ricky Price, Tracy Price, Logan Wilder, Maggie Godwin, Trey Reaves and Caroline Register and great-granddaughter, Remi Tharp.
