Ray McFall, Jr. passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 9, 2023 in Clayton, NC. He was 78 years old. Ray was preceded in death by his parents Ray McFall & Cora (McFall) Mengel of East Bangor, PA.
Ray was born October 3, 1944 in Northampton County, PA. He was a member of East Bangor United Methodist Church, Bangor Elks, served on the Board of the Roseto Rod & Gun Club, and was president of West End Little League baseball. He enjoyed metal detecting and was an avid card player, bowler, and quoit pitcher. He also loved playing golf at his beloved Cherry Valley. Ray worked as a mechanic and later as a Quality Control Inspector at Warren Controls. Ray & Marlene moved to Clayton, NC in 2008. Always with a quick wit, many will miss his stories and one-liners.
Ray is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Marlene McFall; daughter Missy McFall of Kunkletown, PA; sons Jeff McFall (wife Kelli) of Stroudsburg, PA, Jeff Carson (wife Sara) of Easton, PA, and Mike Carson (wife Tracey) of Kenly, NC; grandchildren Erik McFall (wife Britney) of Nazareth, PA, Ashley Biever (husband Dave) of Sugarloaf, PA, Brianna and Adriana Benincasa of Kunkletown, PA, Matthew and Shane Carson of Easton, PA; Seth and Bryce Carson, Bre Snipes (husband Tanner), and Avery Woodruff all of Kenly, NC; great grandchildren Autumn Ash McFall and Riley Rose & Peyton Lilly Biever; sister Chrissy Ott (husband David) of Bangor, PA; and brother Randy McFall of Allentown, PA.
A celebration of life will be held in East Bangor, PA at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Hospice Care of Johnston County NC or the American Heart Association.
