Raymond Earl Lee

Raymond Earl Lee, 93, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at his home in Selma. Born September 25, 1932, in Johnston County, he was the son of the late Albert and Eula Mae Lee. In addition to his parents, Earl was predeceased in death by his wife, Linda Grace Norris Lee; sisters, Hazel Johnson, Gaynelle McLamb, and Barbara Howell; and son-in-law, Danny Ray Parrish.

Earl loved farming and gardening and took great joy in watching things grow. He was known for his strong work ethic and steady commitment to doing things the right way. His life reflected patience, care, and dedication.

A graveside service to honor Earl’s life will take place on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 11:00am, at Sullivan Family Cemetery in Selma, with Rev. Eric Narron officiating. Flowers are welcome.

Earl is survived by his children, Linda Lee Nowell, Raymond Earl Lee Jr. (Carol), Susan Lee Parrish, and Roy Edward Lee; grandchildren, Elizabeth Nowell, Matthew Sauls, Kymberly Blake, Chelsea Allen, Jonathan Parrish, and Phillip Parrish; and great-grandchildren, Ava Blake, Lilly Blake, Tolson Allen, Kylee Parrish, Kiara Sauls, Delilah Sauls, Wyatt Sauls, and Daisy Grady.
