Benson, NC: Mrs. Rebecca Ann Poole Vaughn, age 60, of West Wind Drive, passed away at her residence on January 16, 2023.
Mrs. Vaughn was born on August 5, 1962 to the late Mac Truitt Poole and to Joann Matthews Poole. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert Franklin and Eva Casey Matthews and her paternal grandparents, Brookie and Reba Mae Poole. Prior to retirement, she worked in textiles. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Surviving includes her son, Travis McDonald and his wife, Jaime Lee McDonald; her mother, Joann Matthews Poole; sisters, Sandra Jo Poole and Rhonda Michelle Poole Stancil; niece, Carmen Blake Hicks; and nephew, Dylan Mac Stancil.
