Rebecca “Becky” Langston Weaver of Kenly died on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Wake Med in Raleigh. Becky was born on July 28, 1945, in Johnston County to the late Lester and Nellie Johnson Langston. She is preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Langston and step-mother, Joyce Langston. Becky was an avid Carolina basketball fan. She enjoyed traveling and was always ready to go. She enjoyed pets and fishing. Becky loved to snow ski in her early years. She was always up for a trip to Bojangles to get some “Bo Rounds.” Her biggest love was for her family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Holly Springs Original Free Will Baptist Church from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. The service will follow immediately after the visitation at the church, beginning at 3:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at the Holly Springs Original Free Will Baptist Church.
Becky is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ray Weaver. She is also survived by her daughter, Susan Weaver Ford (Brian); brothers, Guy Langston (Diane), Ken Langston (Sherrie), Kirk Langston (Linda); sisters, Dale Holloman (Bruce) and Denese “Dee” Langston; sister-in-law, Susan Langston; grandchildren, Camden Ford, Peyton Ford, and River Ford.
