Robin Quinn Parnell, 65, passed away at WakeMed in Raleigh on November 10, 2022. Born in Johnston County on January 25, 1957, he was the son of the late Robert Franklin Parnell and Katie Whaley Parnell.
Robin will be remembered as a hard-working man. He loved his job at Lamm Corporate Events, Inc. where he was the shop foreman. Robin was an avid Carolina sports fan and could often be seen cheering on his Tar Heels in basketball and football. Most of all, Robin was a family man. Nothing would please Robin’s heart more than spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
A visitation and time of remembrance for Robin will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Kenly Funeral Service.
Robin is survived by his loving wife, Vicki Hinnant Parnell; children, Brandy Parnell Creech and husband, Johnny, and Timothy Quinn Parnell; grandchildren, Cameron Martinez, Christopher Creech, Nicholas Creech, and Madilynn Creech; brother, Allen Parnell and wife, Betty; sisters, Barbara Killette, Judy Lane and husband, Cecil, Kathy Glover, and Margaret Paulson; special cousin, Dwayne Proctor, as well as many nieces and nephews that Robin loved dearly.
In addition to his mother, Robin is preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Parnell, and sister Linda Killette.
