Rochelle Bass Wall

Rochelle Bass Wall, 86, of Middlesex, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 2, 2026. Born December 17, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Emmit and Elva Edwards. In addition to her parents, Rochelle was preceded in death by her first husband, Johnnie Mack Bass; second husband, Leslie Sherrill Wall, Sr.; brothers, Thelbert Edwards and Kenneth Edwards; and sister, Janie Gordon.

Rochelle cherished her role as a grandmother and found her greatest joy in spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She had a deep love for gardening and took pride in working in her yard, finding peace in nurturing growing things. Rochelle also enjoyed reading and was a woman of strong faith, devoted to the Lord and her church community.

Rochelle is survived by her daughters, Joan Bass of Middlesex and Wanda Reardon (Edwin) of San Diego; sisters, Patsy Johnson, Bonnie Wall, and Georgia Edwards; grandchildren, Jordyn Reardon and Erika Reardon; numerous nieces and nephews; and Kevin Johnson, a young man she considered family and loved dearly.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 11:00am, at Selma Memorial Gardens with Pastor Robert Golf officiating.
