Ronnie Lynn Creech

Ronnie Lynn Creech, 68, of Smithfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at the SECU Hospice House. Born May 11, 1957, in Johnston County, he was the son of the late Herman and Amy Creech. In addition to his parents, Ronnie is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Bill Naksuksri; aunt, Kathleen Godwin; and niece, Cindy Sullivan.

Ronnie worked as a molder for Eaton Corporation for 31 years. He enjoyed working and worked retail for over a decade after retiring. Ronnie loved to get up early and make trips to McDonald’s and Meyer’s store. He cherished spending time with his family, especially his niece, Cassie, along with his beloved cat, Baby. Ronnie enjoyed simple things in life, like sitting on the porch watching the cows roam and graze. He also adored his little green 1995 truck. Before his passing, Ronnie was working on building a barn and carport for his beloved sister, Evelyn.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 2:00pm, in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors one-hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Tee’s Chapel FWB Church cemetery. Flowers are welcome.

Ronnie is survived by his sister, Evelyn Naksuksri; brother, Herman Creech (Joanne); and niece, Cassie Naksuksri.
