Rose Quinn Price of Selma, NC passed away peacefully at Brookstone of Clemmons Monday, July 18, 2022 at the age of 95. She was born in Magnolia, NC on October 4, 1926 to the late Amos and Blanche Quinn.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, James Otha Price, sisters Carrie and Hannah Quinn, Rachel Price and a brother Amos Quinn.
In her younger years, Rose owned and operated a ladies clothing store in Selma and later worked for Shallcross Manufacturing in Smithfield.
Her enjoyment was traveling adventures all over the U.S. with friends and family. She had a passion for planting flowers and shrubs and gardening which was cultivated from her rural farm life growing up. Rose was always benevolent to those who needed a helping hand.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda Thorpe and husband Tom of Clemmons, NC, and a son Mickey Price and wife Jean of Pine Level, NC; a sister Ora Lee Bradshaw of Teachey, NC; grandchildren Scott Thorpe and wife Maggie of Greensboro, NC and Todd Thorpe of Clemmons, NC; great grandchildren, Jax and Ollie Thorpe of Greensboro, NC.
A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday July 23, 2022 at 11:00 am at Selma Memorial Gardens in Selma, NC. Family will receive friends following the service.
