Selma, NC- Mrs. Faye Pittman Creech, 86, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Barbour Court of Smithfield.
Mrs. Creech was born on August 10, 1936 in Johnston County to the late Bennie Pittman and Ethel Young Pittman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Linwood Creech and her brother, Keith Pittman.
Mrs. Creech’s hobbies Included quilting with best friends (Faye Phillips), ceramics, and flowers. She worked on the farm field crest mills and Champion. She was a member of Branch Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Creech recently resided at Hillmont Village in Micro, where she made many good friends, Ms. Margaret and Ms. Peggy.
Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, March 10, at Branch Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM, just prior to the service.
Surviving are her son, Dennis Creech and wife Connie; daughter, Phyllis Arp and husband Odis; brothers, Jimmy Pittman and wife Brenda, Larry Pittman and wife Brenda; Glenn Pittman and wife Kathie. Grandchildren, Jennifer Creech and husband Robert; Shane Hicks and wife Heather; Gara Stanley and husband Shane Stanley; great grandchildren, Cloie Hicks, Alex Hicks, Elizabeth Hicks, Cora Price, Lily Creech, Lara Johnson, Lakelynn Stanley and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
