Ms. Samantha Lane Thornton, age 45, of Four Oaks, NC, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM-Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks, NC. Rev. Glenn McCullen and Pastor Edna McCoy will officiate. Burial will follow in Four Oaks City Cemetery in Four Oaks, NC.
Samantha was born on July 15, 1977 in Johnston County NC. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leron Andrew and Annie Louise Parrish and Harvey Chester, Jr, and Betty Jane Pender. She was a certified nursing assistant and was also a homemaker. Samantha loved to laugh, loved her children, and listening to music. She was loved by her family, and will be missed by many.
Survivors include her children, Edward Dominique Judkins, Lexus Shaunta Ferguson and husband, Charles of Coats, NC; Emauri Jazell Thornton of Coats, NC; Emauri’s father, Pete Thornton; granddaughter, Aerithsaige Judkins; mother and father, Bennie and Wanda Pender of Benson, NC; sister, Kimberly Jane Pender Smith, and husband, Christopher Bryan Smith of Smithfield, NC; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:15PM-1:45PM, on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks, NC and other times at the homes of Shaunta Ferguson, and Bennie and Wanda Pender.
