Nashville – Sandra Haley Brandt, age 69, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Parkwood Village in Wilson. Born, May 29, 1952, in Wake County. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Linda Haley. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Brandt, brothers; Tim Haley and Kelly Haley, as well as her special friend of 25 years, Roger Maye.
Sandra was known for her love of animals especially for horses and dogs. She really enjoyed trail riding and taking care of all animals. Sandra also enjoyed going to the zoo and to the bird sanctuary. She loved all her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed attending her grandson’s baseball games and her granddaughter’s horse shows. She will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. in Raleigh Memorial Park.
She is survived by her daughter, Monica Worley (Alan) of Kenly, brother, Scott Haley of Raleigh; grandchildren, Katie Reaves (Brad) and Steven Worley, great-grandson, Brantley Reaves.
The family will receive friends at other times at the home of Monica and Alan Worley.
