Raleigh, NC: Ms. Sarah Lee Morgan, age 86, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Transitions Life surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson, NC.
Ms. Morgan was born on March 3, 1937 in Johnston County to the late James Herman and Lola Lee Morgan. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.G. Massengill; and a brother, J.E. Morgan. Ms. Morgan retired from Dorothea Dix Hospital where she gave 30 years of service.
Surviving include her son, Glenn Dudley and wife, Mary of Raleigh; daughter, Sarah Princess Kennedy and husband, Gary of Clayton; grandchildren, Josh Chamblee, Morgan King and husband, John, Jared Dudley and wife, Jennifer and Amanda Dudley; great grandchildren, Callie Chamblee, Juliana Dudley and Jaxon Dudley; sisters, Lillie Frances Marshburn, Susan Lee and Sylvia McLamb; and brother, Howard Morgan.
Family will receive friends at Rose and Graham Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 27 from 1:00PM to 1:45PM.
