Jean Bass Stanley, 84, of Princeton passed away at UNC Wayne Health Care on Sunday, January 30, 2022. She was born November 14, 1937 in Johnston County to the late Willie Lee and Melissa Hattie Lee Bass.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Owen Anderson Stanley; granddaughter, Heather Eason Keene and brothers, Ed Bass and Elbert Ray Bass.
Jean is survived by her son, Tim Stanley and wife, Kathy; daughter, Kim Stanley Howery and husband, Duane; grandchildren, Erica Bradshaw, and Duane Owen Howery; great grandchildren, Kaylee Craig, Breanna Keene, Karson Bradshaw and Natleigh Bradshaw.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations in Princeton.
The funeral will be held at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations with the Reverend Dennis Pollock officiating. A private burial will be in Princeton Cemetery.
Although flowers are welcome, the family would appreciate donations be made to Casey Funeral Home and Cremations, PO Box 237, Princeton, NC 27569 to help with the funeral expenses.
