Shirley Ann Holloman, 86, of Selma, joined her heavenly home on Monday, December, 27, 2021. She passed peaceful with her family around her bedside. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, David Earl Holloman, parents, Randall and Irene Lassister of Four Oaks, NC, her infant daughter and many siblings.
Mrs. Holloman is survived by three sons, David Earl Holloman of Selma NC, Donald Holloman and wife Debbie of Selma NC, Douglas Holloman and wife Amanda of Princeton, NC, three granddaughters, one great grandson, two siblings and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Holloman was a dedicated wife and mother. She was proud of her family farm and her work ethic on the farm was inspirational. She was also an amazing cook and loved cooking for her family and friends. She cherished her church family and loved helping others in need. Deeply spiritual, she was an example of servitude and humility. She was a kind and gentle spirit and all that knew her could call her a friend. She was an active member of Parrish Memorial Church for almost 70 years.
Funeral services will be held at Parrish Memorial Church on Friday, December 31, 2021 at 11 AM. The family will receive friends at the church from 10-11:00 AM just prior to the service.
