Shirley Ann Smith Whitley, 77, of Four Oaks, passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. She was born in Hoke County on June 3, 1944 to the late Deams Edgar Smith and Willie Adell Carter Smith.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations in Princeton.
The Memorial will be at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations with the Reverend Don Dewberry officiating.
Mrs. Whitley is survived by her husband, Marshall Henry Whitley; sons, Tony Marshall Whitley (Tina) of Rosewood, Tommy Ray Whitley (Stephanie) of Smithfield, Terry Wayne Whitley (Tammy) of Benson, Jamie Travis Whitley (Melisea) of Four Oaks, and Christopher Mark Whitley (Michelle) of Kenly; daughter, Shirley Elaine Toole (Bobby) of Smithfield; sister, Frances Jones of Knightdale; 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Although flowers are welcome, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
