Selma – Sylvia Ann Brock Pittman, age 88 passed away Saturday May 7, 2022 at The Lodge at Rocky Mount. She was born on May 12, 1933 to the late Walter Brock and Louella Stanley Brock. In addition to her mother and father, she is also preceded in death by husband, John Henry Pittman III; son, Walter Brock Pittman.
A graveside service will be held in Four Oaks cemetery at 2:00 PM on Wednesday May 11, 2022 with Rev. David Sutphin officiating.
Mrs. Pittman is survived by a son, John Pittman IV and wife Bridgette of Wendell; sister, Antoinette Brock of Swansboro; grandchildren, Ashlyn Coelho-Allen, Abigail Pittman, Grace Pittman, Brock Pittman.
Mrs. Pittman was a member at First Baptist Church in Four Oaks. She enjoyed playing games and reading in her spare time.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Special Olympics of Johnston County.
