New Bern, NC: Mrs. Tammy Massengill Witham, age 59, of Washington Post Road passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Mr. Frank Witham and Mr. Rob Witham. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Tammy was born on July 9, 1964 in Johnston County, NC to the late, Bobby and Margaret Austin Massengill. She worked for Moen as a buyer/planner. Tammy was an avid reader, traveler and loved watching cooking shows. She loved to sing and spending time with family and friends. Tammy was very dedicated to Southpointe Community Church.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Frank Witham; daughter, Krista Mitchell and husband, William of New Bern; grandchildren, Bethany, Eliyah, Rachel, Cora and Liam; brothers, David Massengill and wife, Brenda of Blount’s Creek, NC, Earl Massengill of Morehead City; special friends, Terry Tyndall and Angela Tate.
In lieu of flowers and food; memorials may be made to the Colonial Capital Humane Society, 1860 Old Airport Road, New Bern, NC 28562.
