Terry Lynn Barbour

Angier, NC: Mr. Terry Lynn Barbour, age 61, of Zack’s Mill Road passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, at the Smithfield Manor Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Smithfield, NC. Graveside Services to honor Terry will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, starting at 3:00 PM at the Fellowship Community Church Cemetery, located at 3214 Old Fairground Road, Angier, NC. Dr. Billy Cashwell will officiate. Family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Terry was born on April 11, 1964 in Johnston County, NC and was preceded in death by his father, Braxton Earl Barbour, Sr., and his brother, Kenneth Barbour. The legacy of love and compassion that Terry leaves behind will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. He found immense joy in working in his yard, where he spent countless hours planting flowers and shrubbery that brought beauty to his home and delight to those who passed by. His love for horticulture extended to his time spent at McLamb’s Nursery at McGee’s Crossroads, where he shared his passion for plants with many.

Terry is survived by his devoted mother, Lorene Coats Barbour; his beloved daughter, Amanda Barbour; and his cherished granddaughter, Brianna. He also leaves behind a caring sister, Jeanette Barbour, and a brother, Braxton Earl Barbour, Jr., along with numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who will remember him fondly.
