Princeton – Terry Wayne Peedin, age 61, passed away early Thursday, January 9, 2025 at UNC Rex Hospital. Born December 16, 1963, he was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Cornelia Peedin; father-in-law, Ashworth Pearce, brother-in-law Greg Hinnant, sister-in-law Susan Peedin. Terry was a 1982 graduate of Princeton High School. He was a member of Bizzell Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church, Bizzell Grove Men’s Ministries and a was a former member of the North Johnston Panther Club. Terry worked at Nortel and Grifols before retiring and starting his own business, Peedin Lawn Service. Terry was passionate about taking care of the lawn at Bizzell Grove church and was an avid fan of the Carolina Tar Heels.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Bizzell Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church in Princeton. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2025 in Bizzell Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Phillip Bland officiating. Burial will follow in Bizzell Grove Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Darlene Pearce Peedin; daughter, Shelley Peedin (fiancé Richard Sasser), son, Brandon Peedin (girlfriend Emma Hodge); brothers, Danny Peedin and wife Nancy, Larry Peedin and Stevie Peedin all of Princeton, mother-in-law, Sandra Bizzell Pearce of Selma; sisters-in-law, Donna Pearce Hinnant of Kenly and Deanna Pearce Jernigan of Selma; brother-in-law, Gary Pearce and wife Christy of Selma; and many loved nieces and nephews.
