Thomas Dale Holzhauer, Sr.

Thomas Dale Holzhauer, Sr., age 84, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2025, at his home in Princeton, NC. Born September 26, 1941, in Arkansas, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Holzhauer, and his daughter, Kathleen Holzhauer.

Thomas proudly served in the United States Army for 26 years and retired as a Staff Sergeant. During his service, he was a dedicated combat photographer, capturing history through his lens with courage and honor.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Knollwood Memorial Park.

Thomas is survived by his sons, Thomas “Tommy” Holzhauer, Jr. (Tawnee), Daniel “Danny” Holzhauer (Melanie), William Holzhauer, and Jeffrey Holzhauer; his daughter, Angela O’Brien (Phillip); and 13 grandchildren.
