Thomas Jerry Bizzell, 71, of Kenly, NC, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 17, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Born on December 29, 1953, in Wayne County, Jerry was the son of the late Thomas Sandy Bizzell and Hazel Peedin Bizzell. He lived a full life, filled with hard work, love for family, and a deep connection to his community.
For over 30 years, Jerry was the proud owner and operator of Jerry Bizzell Electric in Kenly, where his expertise in the electrical business was highly sought after. More recently, he worked with Renfrow Heating and Air, continuing to share his knowledge and skills with those around him. Jerry’s commitment to his work was a testament to his character, and his customers valued him not only for his technical know-how but for his friendly and dependable nature.
As a member of Kenly Original Free Will Baptist Church, Jerry found joy in serving and worshiping alongside his wife. Outside of work and church, Jerry enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including four-wheeling, fishing, and traveling. He had a deep love for both the beach and the mountains, but no matter where he was, he could always be found contentedly watching a good western movie.
Above all, family was of utmost importance to Jerry. Known as the jokester of the family, he loved to bring laughter into the lives of those around him. His trademark phone calls, where he would try to disguise his voice just to strike up a conversation, were a testament to his playful nature and genuine desire to stay connected with his loved ones.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jane Parker Bizzell; his son, Scott Bizzell, and wife, Charlotte; his daughter, April Marchand, and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Matthew Foulk, Alex Foulk and fiancée, Madison Cassell, Zoe Bizzell, Dylan Hargis, Colby Hargis, Devann Marchand, and Cassidy Allen and husband, Case; and great-granddaughter, Juniper Bizzell.
