Timothy Stephen Hancock

Timothy Stephen Hancock, 74, passed away at his home on Thursday, August 20, 2026. He was born on October 27, 1951 in Miller County, Texarkana, Arkansas to the late John Bailey Hancock and Thursa Fay Taylor Hancock Mahan. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Linda Shriver.

Timothy Stephen Hancock passed away leaving a legacy of devotion to his country, his family, and his wife of 53 years. A proud US Navy veteran of 21 years, Tim brought his family along on a lifetime of adventures before retiring in 1993. He was widely known for his strong work ethic, gentle heart, quiet demeanor, and affection for his family. His unwavering support will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Jean Robbins Hancock; son, Timothy Hancock II (Victoria); daughters, Melissa Singleton and Pamela Hancock; grandchildren, Ariel Newsome, Hanna Lester, Lehua Diaz, Terrence Singleton, Jr., Charles Diaz, Abigail Diaz, Savanna Hancock, Austin Hancock; great grandchildren, Kyndall, Liam, Kenzi, Rylee, Braelynn, Xavier, Charles, Jr., Addison, Tobias, Winona, and Baylor.

The funeral will be held at Grace Baptist Church, 220 Barden St., Princeton, NC 27569 at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 with Reverend Stuart Coffman officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 pm at Grace Baptist Church on Wednesday, August 26, 2026

Although flowers are appreciated, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Grace Baptist Church, 220 Barden St., Princeton, NC 27569.
