Dunn, NC: Mr. Trampas Wayne Penny, age 44, of Cuttoff Road passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM Friday, February 4, 2022 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Glenn McCullen. Burial will follow in the Penny Family Cemetery.
Trampas was born on June 17, 1977 in Johnston County. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Randall G. and Lucy Norris Bain, and paternal grandparents, J.P. and Thelma Prince Penny. Trampas worked for Paradise Pawn owned by Ronnie Kennedy for 29 years as the gunsmith. He enjoyed building and repairing guns and riding his motorcycle.
Surviving are his parents, Jesse James “Rambo” and Frances “Fran” Bain Penny of Dunn; brother, Travis Wayne Penny and fiancé, Kristy McLamb Beasley of Newton Grove; nephew, T.J. Penny of Clayton; niece, Charley Beasley of Newton Grove; special cousins, Josh Penny of Dunn, Mandy Partin Lee of Benson, Stevie Moore of Benson, Scott Moore of Benson, Stacey Moore of Benson; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.

If this man died while at work why is the family having to pay for his funeral expenses? Shouldn’t the business’s insurance take care of that expense?
