Valerie Anne Quintero

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share that God called our beloved Valerie Anne Recore Quintero home on September 14, 2026, at the age of 50. Her passing was sudden and unexpected, leaving an emptiness in our family that words cannot fully express.
Valerie was born on May 23, 1976, in Malone, New York, to Cheryl Anne Delisle and Marvin Frank Recore. She was a loving sister to Shawn Recore and Serena Recore.
Valerie was a truly good person with a beautiful heart. She was almost always smiling, laughing, and enjoying life. Her happiness was contagious, and she had a special way of making those around her feel loved, important, and cared for. She gave her love freely and unconditionally—that was simply who she was.
Family meant everything to Valerie. She will be lovingly remembered by Simon Quintero and her five children: Marcus Quintero, Adriana Quintero, Jesus Quintero, Lilliana Delangel, and Elijah Delangel. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Naylene Quintero, Jerell Quintero, Sophia Quintero, Marcos Quintero, McKyla Vick, Jelsey Quintero, Joel Quintero, Jesse Quintero, and Joselyn Anchondo. Her children and grandchildren were truly the center of her world.
Valerie enjoyed the simple things that made her happy—getting her nails done, shopping, trying new foods, binge-watching TV shows, cooking for her family, and most of all, being surrounded by the people she loved.
She was also smart, hardworking, and determined. Valerie earned her GED, a degree in Criminal Justice, became a Notary Public, and earned her CNA certification. Her family was incredibly proud of all she accomplished.
Although 50 years was far too short, Valerie filled those years with happiness, laughter, and so much love. We find comfort in knowing that God has called her home, while the love she gave us will remain in our hearts forever.
Valerie was a beautiful soul, a wonderful mother and grandmother, and a genuinely good person. We will forever miss her smile, her laughter, her cooking, her hugs, and simply having her with us.
Her smile will be remembered, her laughter will be missed, and her love will remain with our family forever.
