Lillington, NC: Mrs. Virginia Estelle Parker Styron, age 84, passed away in her sleep, on Friday, August 4, 2023 at her residence. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM-Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Coats, NC. Graveside Services will be held 3:00PM, Wednesday, August 9, 2023 in the Elmwood Cemetery in Enfield, NC.
Mrs. Styron was born on January 1, 1939 in Enfield, NC, to the late Andrew Jackson Parker and Virginia Neill Harvey Parker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Robert Styron, Sr., and her brothers, Billy Parker, Jack Parker, Julian Parker and James Parker. Mrs. Styron was a retired convenient store manager, and was also a homemaker. She was a very patriotic person, and was loved by her family and many others.
Survivors include her children, Louise Walvatne, Martin Robert Styron, Jr., Charles David Styron, Virginia Rose “Ginger” Bailey, and Tammy Lynn Watson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 9:30AM-10:45AM prior to the service on Wednesday at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Coats, NC and other times at the home.
