Micro – Wanda Lee Barber, age 69, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022, in UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Born, May 12, 1952, in Johnston County she was a daughter of the late Jackson and Eunice Barber. She is preceded in death by her brother, Jackson Barber Jr. and sister, Linda F. Hawes.
Wanda was a member of Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church in Selma. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Wanda was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and loved tending to her flower garden. She will be missed by all her family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Pearce Family Cemetery in Micro.
She is survived by her son, Michael Griswold and daughter-in-law, Isabel of Lillington, brother, Jimmy Barber of Fayetteville, sister, Josephine Jackson of Smithfield; grandchildren, Barbara Hough and Thomas Griswold.
