Wayne Lewis Colley, II

Wayne Lewis Colley, II, age 57, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born on October 17, 1968, in Lynchburg, Virginia, he was the son of Rebekah Creech and the late Wayne Lewis Colley, Sr.

Wayne graduated from Millbrook High School in 1987. He enjoyed all R/C vehicles and had quite a collection of them over the years. Wayne had many friends who were a great source of support and companionship, especially during the final chapter of his life. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude for the love, prayers, and support shown to Wayne and to them during this difficult time.

Wayne is survived by his mother and stepfather, Rebekah and Philip Creech; brother, Christopher Sean Colley, Sr., and wife, Dawn Newlin Colley; niece, Sharon Nicole Colley Ramos and husband, Bryan Ramos; nephew, Christopher Sean Colley, Jr.; and many wonderful aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He will be remembered for his love of hobbies and the special bond he shared with his family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Memorial Gardens.
