Wendy Marie Minahan

July 15, 1956 – April 5, 2026

Wendy Marie Minahan, age 69, of Princeton NC, passed on Sunday April 5, 2026 at PAM Specialty Hospital in Rocky Mount and is now with her Lord. She was born in Angola, NY on July 15, 1956 to the late Robert “Bob” George Sr. and Dorothy Ann Stevenson George. In addition to her father and mother she is also preceded in death by her brother, Robert George Jr.; sister in law, Donna Hines George;

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Minahan; her children, Dawn Stancil and David Stancil; grandchildren, Hunter Stancil and Adriene Adkins; aunt, Janet Nottleman; nephew, Kelly George.

Wendy will always be remembered as a dedicated loyal loving wife, mother and Nana. Her sweet spirit and warm heart will always leave a lasting impression on everyone that knew her. She was happiest being with her family, especially her grandchildren. Hunter and Adrienne held a special place in her heart and they felt the wonderful love only a Nana can give.

Wendy was talented in her ability to design and hand sew quilts as well as knit and crochet afghans to wrap her loved ones in warmth and memories.

Her Scottish Terriers meant the world to her as she enjoyed being a puppy mama and the attention and love she received from them completed her happiness in life.

Wendy has left loving stitches on each of our hearts providing warm feelings and lasting comfort for all eternity.
