Wilbert David Weaver, 83, of Louisburg, NC, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024.
Wilbert was born on May 25, 1941 in Johnston Co., NC to the late Ina Aycock and Erastus “Rat” Weaver. He was a long-time member of Flat Rock Baptist Church. He enjoyed growing collards and providing those to the people in the community. He loved Elvis Presley, watching NASCAR (Dale Erhardt was his favorite driver), basketball, and his dog Lexi.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who will be missed by all. He loved his family more than anything, especially his wife and granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ila Holloman, Janice Gray Lassiter, Ann Weaver Beasley; and brothers, Thurman Weaver, Kenneth Weaver, and Jack Weaver.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judith Hill Weaver; son, Jeff (Patricia) Weaver; brother, Jimmy Weaver; granddaughter, Lauren Weaver; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, July 29, 2024 at Flat Rock Baptist Church with Gary McNair and Rev. Jeremiah Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Flat Rock Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the graveside service in the fellowship hall at Flat Rock Baptist Church, 1529 Flat Rock Rd. Louisburg, NC 27549.
