Birth Date: 09/30/1943
Deceased Date: 08/11/2023
William Andrew Jackson Peacock, III, was called to his heavenly family on August 11, 2023.
He was a husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, and uncle, but most importantly, he was a true man of God.
Mr. Jack, as he was most commonly known, was born in Goldsboro, NC, on September 30, 1943. Being the oldest of four, he learned great responsibility from an early age. He learned the importance of family and hard work, which led him to begin his own businesses, Custom Assemblies in 1996, and later, Custom Medical Specialties in 1999.
Throughout his life, he devoted himself to caring for his family. He enjoyed living so closely to his daughters, Kathy and Mandy, his grandchildren, Jaclyn, Drew, Jenna, Sarah, and Joelle, and later his great grandchildren, Collin, Julia, and Landon. He and his wife, Gayle, spent much of their time traveling and enjoying time with family. He was Daddy, Dad, Papa, and Grandpa.
He was a man who loved adventure, mischief, and humor, finding joy in practical jokes. As a former pilot, he loved exploring new places and could never sit still. As an animal lover, he loved feeding the deer in his back yard, raising cattle at his farm in Pine Level, watching birds from the window of his office, and freshwater fishing. He loved spending time nurturing his sunflowers, tomatoes, and everything his wife made him plant.
He was loved in the community, providing for many families. He loved what he did, working every day even in his later years, unwilling to retire or miss a day of work. Through his business, he was able to help millions of patients over the years.
The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home on Tuesday August 15, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Parrish Funeral Home on Tuesday.
