Four Oaks, NC: Mr. William Hunter Thompson, age 91, of Keene Rd, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, May 5 at 2:00pm at the Piney Grove Church Cemetery in Four Oaks. Pastor Kevin Edwards will be officiating.
Mr. Thompson was born on September 9, 1930 in Johnston County, North Carolina to the late William Hubert and Myrtle Caudle Thompson. Mr. Thompson was also preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Ida Thompson and a son, Ricky Thompson.
Surviving includes his sons, Kenneth Thompson and wife Diane of Erwin, Gray Thompson of Four Oaks and his daughter, Patsy Thompson of Four Oaks; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a great great grandson; daughter-in-law, Kay Thompson of Benson, many nieces and a nephew.
The family will greet friends on Thursday, May 5 from 12:30 to 1:45 pm at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.
