Goldsboro, NC- William Ronald “Ronnie” Parker, 74 years of age, passed away January 9, 2025, of natural causes, at his home in Goldsboro, NC. Ronnie was born November 26, 1950, in Goldsboro, NC to the late Willie Troy Parker and Faye Pilkington Parker. In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his life partner; Tanna Wilder, her two sons, and his brother; Johnny Parker.
Ronnie studied interior architectural design and graduated from W.W. Holding Technical Institute in North Carolina. Ronnie worked as an interior architectural designer for various dental companies, where he was instrumental in designing interior dental office layouts across Virginia and North Carolina.
Ronnie married Jenny Henderson in August of 1975. Although the marriage wasn’t permanent, they did have three sons, Jason, Nick and Jon, who were the joy of his life. Ronnie was an avid traveler and had many interests, including classic cars, playing golf, and spending time at the beach. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, whether that was on the baseball field, soccer field or attending their piano concerts. The time together with his grandchildren brought him tremendous joy.
Ronnie is survived by his sons; Jason Parker (Lindsey) of Clayton, Nick Parker (Jessica) of Four Oaks, and Jon Parker (Liz) of Garner; his brother, Donald “Donnie” Parker (Suzanne); his sister, Teresa Peele; his five grandchildren, Ayden, Jase, Annica, Liam, Kisa; his long-time partner’s son Craig and her 6 grandchildren.
Ronnie will be remembered for his unwavering love and devotion to his family. Per his wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements are with Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. Online condolences can be sent to Parrishfh.com
