Alma McLamb Cobb, 93 of Princeton passed away at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield on January 5, 2019. She was born May 27, 1925 to the late James Wilbert McLamb and Lula Ingram McLamb. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cobb was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin David Cobb; son, David Cobb; daughter, Frances Ezell; granddaughter, Dana Dale and 4 brothers, James McLamb, C. L. McLamb, Joseph McLamb and Wilbert McLamb. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 6:30 pm with the Reverend Duane Rush officiating. There will be a private burial in Princeton Cemetery.
She is survived by son, James Thomas Cobb (Barbara) of Raleigh; daughters, Edna Edwards (Harold) of Princeton and Lillian King (Buddy) of Kenly; son-in-law, Bill Ezell; daughter-in-law, Brenda Cobb; brothers, Elmer McLamb of Smithfield and Delma McLamb of Smithfield; sisters, Velma Wadsworth of Smithfield, and Peggy Hess of Landsdale, PA; 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm in the Chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations, Princeton, NC.
