Amy Kathryn Sullivan Stephenson, age 45, of Pine Level passed away on Saturday, August 19, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. Amy was born August 24, 1971 in Smithfield, NC to Larry and Brenda Sullivan.
Amy was a longtime member of Selma Presbyterian Church. She graduated from North Johnston High School in 1989. On August 6, 1994 she was united in marriage to Gregory S. Stephenson in Selma, NC. Those that knew her best would say Amy was a sweet and loving soul with a gentle spirit. She was an amazing mom and considered raising her two wonderful daughters her greatest joy.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 22 at 10:00 am in Selma Memorial Gardens with Rev. Carole McCartney officiating. The family will receive friends at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma Monday from 6 to 8 PM.
Surviving are her husband Greg Stephenson; two daughters, Sara of Raleigh and Lauren of Pine Level; parents Larry and Brenda Sullivan of Pine Level; sister Heather Schultz of Garner; Paternal Grandmother, Winnie Sullivan Rutter of Selma and her canine companion Bentley.
